With Libbok scoring another penalty the scoreline became 27-12 before the closing stages of the game saw Will Joseph and Junior Pokomela exchanging tries as Stormers completed a 34-14 victory. A penalty kick from Libbok at the stroke of half-time meant the South African side completed the opening half with a 10-0 lead. Stormers dominated the opening exchanges in the second half as Hacjivah Dayimani and Leolin Zas scored back to back tries and Libbok kicked both the conversions as they extended their lead to 24 unanswered points. The first points from the visitors came in the 50th minute as hooker Mike Willemse dived over at the back of a maul and Paddy Jackson kicked the conversion. They thought they narrowed down the gap further but scrum-half Ben White's was ruled out by the TMO.
